Pop tops for Joy is a foundation that was created by Gia Tomasewski. Gia is a 7 year old girl who decided to start collecting pop tops in memory of Kelli Joy from Indian Head Park. Gia then brings the Pop tops to the Ronald McDonald house at Loyola Hospital. Gia decided it would be a great idea to get the police involved and created the competition. This was the second year we participated in the event. An Officer reached out to the local businesses and asked for them to start collecting pop tops and we have not looked back. We collected over 300 pounds of pop tops for the foundation and won our second consecutive Pop tops for Joy Championship.
